Like another reviewer, I downloaded the entire album on a whim after hearing Eminem's great rap "Stan" with the hook from "Thank You". And like another reviewer, I found the album to exclusively deal with love, lust and relationships. Because of Dido's seemingly heartfelt exposure of her feelings and because the songs also "spoke to me" I find all the songs to be wonderful.

Wow! I only listened to the song "Thank You" thanks to the Eminem song "Stan" but I downloaded the whole album on a whim and I am so glad that I did. This is such an amazing album. Strong vocals, strong songs-Download the Album people!

If you don't like it Hobbes8calvin, don't listen. There are plenty of us who, however, LOVE THIS ALBUM!! And, if ya gotta get the 1 song you do like somewhere else, well do it. Just like dating. LOL

The title notwithstanding, this debut from the former Faithless singer is pretty angelic-sounding stuff. You’re bound to think of Sinéad O’Connor, but the comparison is as misleading as it is inevitable. Granted, Dido’s ethereal vocals here frequently recall O’Connor; but Dido’s music — while inventively augmented with electronics — is generally less adventurous. Ditto No Angel’s lyrics, which focus almost exclusively on love, lust, and relationships. That said, the fact remains that this is an auspicious and highly listenable album — atmospheric, seductive, and beautifully produced and sequenced. – Jeff Burger
