Not His Best,
The connection is there with "I Believe I can fly" with Yodanda Adams and "Don't Know Why" but hit a brick wall with "The Music That Makes Me Dance" with Streisand whom he should have left off the album.

No doubt about it, Kenny G is a great musician. However, he seems uninspired with this effort even with all the people he has on the album. Maybe its the material. Careless Whispers with Brian McKnight and Earl Klugh, and The Way You Move with Earth, Wind and Fire are solid offerings. Everything else was like a pro basketball player making a 2 foot layup. Its a score but not as exciting as a dunk.
I never liked Jazz until Kenny G came along. This Duets Album is great. I love the song Misty and Gladys Knight does a beautiful duet with Kenny G. I love Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word with Richard Marx. This is a supurb album.
Smooth jazz at it's best
