All the JD you really need
I have to confess that I grew up with most of the John Denver albums playing regularly on the turntable, my Mom's records. Most of his stuff hasn't aged well, but there's a lot of those songs which... well, they're just great songs. This box set has all the good stuff (a lot of the albums contained a significant amount of filler). The first two discs are the highlights of the early period. Disc 3 is hit and miss and disc 4 is mostly inconsequential, as per the artist's career. That said, there are only maybe five *songs* that I like by JD that aren't somewhere on this box.
