Glorious singing
The pieces are far from 'standards' of the cathedral repertoire. All the more reason to listen. Amongst the treasures is the first track, Gombert's moving elegy "Musae Jovis". There's not a dud on the album, showing, once again, the vast treasure trove awaiting discovery in the renaissance repertoire.
