Disappointingly ignored...
I remember when this came out and the critics pretty much panned it at the same time that they were commenting on its depth. I bought it without hearing a single song and it turned into the soundtrack for a six-week trip through England. It's chill, it's moody, it's mostly quiet, and I think it's an amazing portrait of an iconic voice. Check out "To Be Forgiven" and "It Doesn't Really Matter" for your first tastes.

Every artist should have a project like this one, at his best even after all these years.
