I like one track so far.
I really like the song In Our Eyes. The sound is very modern-shoegaze. The samples from the rest of the album didn't excite me as much, but I'm pretty sure I'll find 4 credits sometime to get the rest.

As good as APOF's Swervedriver-influenced debut album and the followup (Out of the Angeles) were, this EP is much better. They've developed their sound into something more accessible and melodic, incorporating aspects of 70's FM-radio pop into their blissed-out fuzzy-guitar shoegaze sound. You can hear elements of bands like ELO, 10cc, and Badfinger in this record, particularly on "The Day It Snowed" (a reworked version of "At Last The Night" from Out of the Angeles) and the title track. Hopefully they'll maintain this direction for another full album or two - it would really help to set them apart from many of their "nu-gaze" contemporaries.
