You've gotta be kidding
On Daydream Nation's "Providence" Sonic Youth used a slowed-down recording of an amplifier exploding as the background for an interesting soundscape of piano and spoken word. Prurient forgoes the "interesting" parts, and makes an entire album of the sound of audio equipment malfunctioning.
