Better than average shoegazer.
Helios, creates a some nice atmospheres on this CD. His music reminds me of contemporary artists like: 'Lights Out Asia', 'Slow Dancing Society', 'Amongst Myselves', and 'Hesius Dome' to mention a few. Some of the stand-out tracks are: "Bounce Dive" which has an almost Ishq-like dream-quality to it. The "South Tree" is really a stunningly, deep, downtime shoegazer. Lastly, "The Jaguar Sun" speaks volumes about both predator and prey. This is an ambient piece worthy of Rudy Adrian. All and all, a decent project from Helios, that should gel in a compatible playlist.
