Reasonably appealing music, but only the Brits could possibly have voiced these paternalistic attitudes. Mr Payne would have been better advised to leave well alone. His own music is far better than this.

Hmmm - not sure
It's a perfectly good piece of work as a technical exercise - but as a piece of entertainment, it's orientalist schlock of the worst type (you'd almost imagine Yul Bryner to swoop past wearing chiffon pants!).
