Glasvegas is like the Killers with a better singer and thicker atmosphere. I expected to not like them, or to be just another lightweight synth-pop band worthy of one listen. But they're better than that, and actually quite interesting.

This album has such a great feel to it through and through. The way it opens--Flowers & Football Tops--is both energetic and heart-wrenching. Geraldine is probably my favorite for pretty much the same reasons, but the whole album carries a great atmosphere with it. This album hasn't left my rotation since I stumbled upon it.
