Some of Lazer Boy’s depth in noise, Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci’s innocent gentle digressiveness, and the Super Furry Animals’ galloping genre hops. As well as, if we may approve one non-Welsh pop band, a bit of the theatricality of "Fixing a Hole" and "Getting Better” and (on the marvelous, joyful "Cacen Magnu") a fast edgewise glimpse of the playful squall of “Revolution #9”.
