Though he may not be the most original songwriter, Noel Gallagher is certainly one of the best since the Alternative movement took over in the early 90's. Here he is on full display, showing that he and the power of the songs are what made Oasis the biggest British Band of the last 20 years. Slide Away, Don't Look Back in Anger, and the cover of the Smith's "There is a Light that Never Goes Out" are all terrific. What should ring true after you listen is that if you're a fan of Oasis, Noel is Oasis!
