Does anyone know what "lo-fi" means? If hi-fi, means "high fidelity" or true to the original, shouldn't "lo-fi" then mean untrue to the original? So if these artists are intentionally sounding fuzzed out and distorted, then aren't they more hi-fi than lo, because they're sounding similar to the way the music was intended to sound?

as a reply to the first review: her vocals are not shaky. i've seen her live - she is a strong singer. you may or may not like lo-fi music but i disagree that she's using it as a trick to cover up weak musical talent.
