while their earlier albums (save Arcane Dominion) were one excellent song after another, this album is far less instantly impressive. The cussing is superfluous, if not pernicious, as well. Nevertheless, there's a lot of outstanding music here.
Honestly, ven, slania, and evocation are better albums, everything else is redundant. I would rather have my money back, and for them to go back to the unrefined unique style of ven.
This album is wonderful, and I have been tracking the band and awaiting its release in the U.S. The way the blend traditional instuments with the thrash of an electric guitar is unsurpassed. Excellent album, from the acoustic tracks to everything in between, very beautifully done. Wish i could give it more than 5 stars. Must have for any Folk / Celtic Metal fan out there. Or any metal head with an Open Mind.
