The Brazilian sextet CSS is a commando team hammering at the pleasure centers of the brain, and their first American album piles up almost all the good stuff about synth-pop, rave, punk and obscene playground chants in the same place. It's sequenced continuously, like a dance mix — which it basically is — and named after the same (alleged) Beyoncé quip that inspired the band's name: "tired of being sexy." That's the key to spectacle-loving frontwoman Lovefoxxx's persona here: She's snarky and disgusted and mean-spirited in a way that's hilarious because it's coming from someone who already knows that she's an object of desire. "Music Is My Hot Hot Sex" was the album's unlikely hit single, but almost every track here sounds like it's drifted over from the nastiest, flashiest dance party around — be careful with "Meeting Paris Hilton" if you don't want to spend the next few days helplessly singing its chorus: "The bitch said yeah! The bitch said yeah!"
