Perfect
I saw them on tour with MM last year and was mucho impressed. This doesn't hold the same frenetic energy their live set did, but who's studio album does? His voice is gorgeous, yes, and I think the minimalism in the instrumentation just enhances that. I disagree with the 'mumbling' comment. I hear it as more 'wobbling'. His voice is a perfect outlet for the emotion of the lyrics. If you've ever tried to talk through your own tears, you'll get this.
Burning Stars is great...
and Under and In Rocks is good, but the rest doesn't hold my interest. Will keep trying...

Great cd, sounds contemporary and good and ... WHAT A VOICE!!!!!!
What happened?
This was one of my most-anticipated albums ever. Glacial Pace earned their name by taking seven months (after the leak!) to release this; then most of the songs are mumbled, off-tempo (sometimes off-key) versions of the originals. Compare "The Loop" with the YouTube version on this page. This was a bit disappointing.
