eMusic needs a new system

Rusty_Ranchero

I have noticed a pattern that virtually all albums that contain tracks of 10 minutes or longer require a full album download. I think it's a default setting in eMusic's system and they have to manually configure each album that is an exception. Perhaps they haven't made it to this album yet? They need to work on that, because a lot of albums are slipping through the cracks.

Who Is…John Talabot

By Philip Sherburne, eMusic Contributor

But throughout the past half-decade, dance music has been both cutting-edge and conscious of its own legacy; an irresistible combination for anyone who wants to have a good time first and… more »

Year in Electronic 2008

By philip sherburne, eMusic Contributor

Every year, it's the same. November rolls around, and so do the requests for end-of-year lists, which I leave all but unread in my inbox, hoping they'll go away. Panic: What was good this year? Mind: blank. I curse my fitful listening habits and the shoddy acoustics of the apartment in which I lived until a month ago — not to mention its lack of a living room, which left no space to listen to… more »
