Ugh, this carries me back to elementary-school carpool in late 70s/early 80s St. Louis. The soft rock station on the stereo: America, CSN, Seals & Croft, Moody Blues, Kansas. Am I saying this music is incompetently crafted? Not really. What I am saying is that every American generation seems more hapless and pathetic and confused than the one that preceded it. This is cutting edge? Somewhere there is a granddad who grew up on the Kinks or the Stones, and, hearing this soft mewling on his grandkid's stereo thinks, man, what a marshmellowy wuss.
My favorite is English House
I truly enjoy listening, an incredible sound.
These five tracks are just beautiful! Mykonos is the best track, reminiscent of CSNY.
The debut Fleet Foxes album blew me away, and this EP is every bit as good or better. This is an all-time great EP, and I'm not someone who likes this genre typically. These guys are special and you should download this as soon as possible. Lucky you, you don't have to pay $5 for it like I did.
