It's good but...
I really wanted to like this. The first few tunes really perked my ears up, but then it got a little sugary sweet and pop light for me. I expected more like "Hannah". Pick and choose the tracks, not the whole thing.

Imagine that perfect world where Sufjan Stevens helped out on the new Postal Service record and you have a very good idea about how this one sounds. From the grand opening track to the disc's airy closer, F.W. have made the most infectiously catchy headphone album I have ever heard. Simply hearing the track "Hannah" and then NOT have it stuck in your head is nothing short of a miracle. You should do yourself a favor and get this one now!!!!!!
Hints of Sufjan Stevens here and there amongst other delights from the twee-pop candy dish. All and all an enjoyable romp in the aural playground ... but somehow a been-there-done-that quality to it at the same time. Still worth a listen.
