Running the gamut from indie pop toe tappers to psychedelic shriekers, the second album by Canadian rockers the Whitsundays is a musical roller coaster. This eclecticism may be rooted in the members' diverse backgrounds — frontman Paul Arnusch hails from dream pop band the Faunts, while the band's bassist and drummer play in electropop group Shout Out Out Out Out. From the sweet, breezy track "You Fell For It" to the snarling weirdness of "I Can't Get Off of My Cloud," Saul is delightfully bi-polar in the best possible way.
