The free track led me to this album and I really like what I've checked out so far. My quota for the month is used up for now, but when it renews I'll be back to download more from this group. Thanx for introducing me to another fine group eMusic.
Agreed, having friends/family/band members/whoever sign up just to give your album rave reviews is annoying -- and so is giving an album a bad review and low rating just because you're pissed about the "fake" reviews. I got this album elsewhere over a year ago, with a slightly different mix of tracks, and I've enjoyed it. Favorites are Simple Naive Someone and Let It Rain. And I like the cover art.
the melloncollies song bullet in my sunday is a song of interest to me!sense the song was a free track to download,i did'nt hesitate to have it.after listening i fell in love with the one song out of the 12 that is on there album!cant wait to download the full album soon!
Most of these reviews are fakes. All accounts opened in April 2010 and none had downloaded any music. Won't download the freebie either because of that... There must be other ways to advertize your own album...
Holy moley, this is a ride. Sad and happy at the same time, these songs tell some great stories. Money, love, loneliness - with music influenced by the greats, Costello, Dylan, REM. Great Album, not just a bunch of tracks!!
Just based on the previews, I won't even bother to download the FREE track let alone the whole album. There is nothing special about this band. And it's really irritating that the same person (very obvious) used different accounts to write multiple glowing reviews of a really mediocre album. I wouldn't waste your time.
heard bullet in my sunday and was blown away. i had to buy the whole cd and let me tell you, i was fucking blown away!! every single song is killer! to many to mention. buy this album!! you will absolutely love it!
got bullet in my sunday free, loved it so i bought the album and i have to say this one of the best record i hear in years. many songs should be hits. not just a one good song album. get it and play it! you wont regret it
heard a lot of great things about this record but thought it was all hype. didnt want to spend the money but bought it anyway and i have to say, this is a great record. alomst every song should be played on radio. this is power pop at its finest. buy it!! its worth it!
i finally found a record that has more than 1 good song. they have 10 great songs. cant stop listening to simple and bullet, lonliest boy and all i want are killers!! definately worth the buy
