Boring
Boring "electronica". Call it dubstep if you want, it's just the same old.
Techno revisited
i have read about the gradual reintroduction of techno into the electronic music scene. this album is a great example. the feeling of listening to techno at night that I had in the 90's is encapsulated into the crisp, musique concrete production of dubstep. instead of a blazing tb303, the found sounds of subterranean life find there way into the lilt of dubstep, but at a quickened pace. no wobble bass here, just stuff that makes me want to dance.

Smooth dubstep from Hotflush label boss
On first listen "So you think you're special" and "Lights out" stand out for me, but really the whole album is strong. I hope more Hotflush releases make their way to emusic.
