They Say All Music Guide

It’s hard to pin down the exact heavy metal subgenre that Brooklyn, NY’s Tombs specialize in — musically, it’s a bit all over the place. Case in point, their 2009 offering, Winterhours, which features death metal growls and music that touches upon extreme metal, doom metal, and even good old-fashioned Iron Maiden-esque Euro-metal.
