Good, but not his best
I luv Lewis Black- fan for many years. This is good- but not as strong as his previous work. Start anywhere though for an introduction if you're unfamiliar with Mr. Black,

I cannot believe I used to not like Lewis Black's humor. Every performance is better than the last. This is the best yet. Smart, funny, real.
A comedian for the ages!
Addicting to say the least. One of the best cynics of all time. Yes mellowing out but we all do.
Perhaps it's because W is not longer President, as he mentions it in his routine, but compared to his earlier CDs/DVDs, he is fairly mellow in this album, which makes it an enjoyable, but not essential album.
Although he is great or shall we say rather good, his sting stays on key at the right time.
I have eclectic tastes in comedy. From Bill Cosby to Eddie Izzard, Paula Poundstone to Don Rickles. These folks get me laughing till the tears come. Lewis Black is the same. He skewers everything from the TSA to selections of milk. He does use powerful language, but like Richard Pryor, the words are used as vibrant seasoning, not an overbearing sledgehammer performance. Lewis squirms, winces, points his fingers and yells at just the right pitch. He is terrific.
