They remind me of...
Portugal.The Man, but I like Young Galaxy better. However, the album could be trimmed down a tad. If the album length were 9 or 10 albums, then it would probably be a better listener experience. A few of the songs are boring duds that are better left in early 00s alternative rock. Also, in many of the songs, it seems as if the band doesn't really know what their identity is. See the gospel tinged "Firestruck" for example. I do like the songs sung by the female vocalist much better than the male vocalist - his standout track may be "Light Years," but the female vocalist just sings the stronger songs: "Long Live the Fallen World," "Pathos," and "Disposable Times."
Ahhh...
