Bombastic, fun, and ultimately very musical.

Oh man, it's good. I am absolutely kicking myself for missing their sold out show here in Denver. I done wore this album playing it front to back and again. My only gripe is perhaps that it's too long. Please make more.

Fave Album of 2010

superchump

and I heard a lot of albums.

rodrigo y gabriela? no.

anon

there is absolutely no overlap between this music and that of a very mediocre "alt flamenco" or whatever you want to call them guitar duo. i don't love this music, but i just felt compelled, for those interested in checking out this band, that they in no way sound like rodrigo y gabriela. at all. conceptually, actually, or otherwise.

Audio issue has been fixed

Brassland

Hey anybody interested in this album, just an FYI, that the audio has been fixed. The bad rip was an error on our distributors part. Many apologies, it's been repaired.

I'd really like to buy this album...

Trakball

....but you can hear how horribly it's been ripped just listening to the samples (Red Hood Came Home especially)

what's in the water in brooklyn?

OldSchool2000

every week a new band comes out with great songwriting and musicianship. B&G are not totally unique - i hear strains of tegan and sarah, dirty projectors, even rodrigo y gabriella - but their sound is strong and their sonic palette is unique. its worth several listenings.

By eMusic Editorial Staff, eMusic Contributor

We're taking that principle and running with it: eMusic is proud to present this regular, monthly roundup of our editors 'and members 'current faves. Whether it came out 30 years… more »
