Noise rock never sounded so sensitive. San Francisco rockers Weekend may make their statements through layers of reverb and distortion, but the effect is more dreamy than distressing. While the lyrics on Sports may sometimes be difficult to decipher, the feelings never are.

True to genre

Agree with previous reviewers - quite pleasant, distorted kraut droning. Kind of what Secret Machines used to sound like when they were starting out. I like it, but not really taking the genre to any new direction as far as I can tell.

Agree w/ SammyCenny's assessment of their sound (that's exactly what I like, & I like this), but I don't think they sound like Women. But I do like Women. Hmmm
