Best OMD in a long, long time

medievalmodernist

The last OMD album I bought prior to "History Of Modern" was "Architecture and Morality." I wasn't dazzled by "Dazzle Ships" and "Junk Culture" was just junk. So I gave up on their new work, but often returned to their seminal first three albums. Despite a few weak tracks, this album is a refreshing comeback. I've been listening to it practically daily since I purchased it. Standout tracks for me are "New Babies; New Toys", "History Of Modern" and "The Right Side?".

their best album since "Architecture and Morality"

VicEdee

AGREE with most reviewers, and fans, that this is their BEST album in many years, and their best full work since 1983! As an original fan since the first single ("Red Frame White Light") this album is inspired, modern work - and a welcome return from the under-rated, and un-appreciated electronic pop innovators that they are. Skip all of their commercial stuff from the late 80's and all the 90's - this album is as solid as their early 80's best.....!

Excellent Comeback

I never expected another great album from OMD so this one is a big surprise. Several very strong tracks here that nearly match up with their best work. Highly recommended for OMD fans.
