Great Album Give Us More
Daniel Lanois is a consummate producer who has it all. Trixie Whitley was born like Athena from the head of her gifted father Chris Whitley - and Daryl Johnson has a haunting interplay with Trixie which rocks. Brian Blade provides syncopation and the alternately laid back and funky drumming blend that Trixie's keyboard plays on the top of with heady results. Wish Jimmy Dub had made it onto this album but, that's neither here nor there. This is a musician's album. Get it. And stay out of motorcycle accidents!
