Solid and sweet
"Solid" is probably the word I overuse the most when reviewing albums. How else do you describe music that is catchy, but not spectacularly so, and fairly generic yet entirely enjoyable? This is lovely indie pop with elements of chamber pop, not too different from compatriots like El Hijo and Travolta. (Belle & Sebastian must have been the the biggest band to hit Spain since Queen.)
