In heavy rotation, still
How I first discovered Frente Cumbiero is not important but I'm pretty sure it was through the version of Bocachico on the Cumbia Bestial compilation--I was hooked and happily discovered their Pichito/Ananas Tornillo ep shortly thereafter. A couple months later Radio Groovalizacion started to play Frente Cumbiero Meets The Mad Professor and I quickly became beyond hooked and can safely say their melange of Cumbia, dub, and brass does the trick for me. (On a side note I liked the Mad Professor/Baba Zula mashup, too.) At this point I've exhausted their catalog and look forward to more Cumbia-influenced awesomeness from Frente Cumbiero. Enjoy!
