Almost like a 'Greatest Hits' Tour
I'm very happy that eMusic is providing us with this excellent redux By Manzanera of his best solo work. I have been through used cassettes, battered vinyl, and now I can finally have a decent copy. But back to the music. If you enjoy intelligent music work full of sudden left-turns, then you will definitely enjoy this album. Manzanera said at the very beginning that he didn't want his guitar to sound like a guitar, and he often works very hard to accomplish this. But then come tracks like K-Scope and Diamond Head. Then there is the stunning Listen Now, a prog track that was way ahead of tis time. Enough babbling. The out-of-print CD is going for big bucks on the usual seller sites. This is a deal you won't find again.
