An otherwise good recording, this lacks an audience that's imperative to bring about "a last night of the proms," that usually takes place at Royal Albert Hall during the first two weeks of September. Without the rowdy crowd's interaction for the occasion and a single conductor, this truly disappoints. There are many memorable years that have been recorded, pick one of those instead.
