  • They Say...

Ricky Van Shelton gives new meaning to the words "Blue Christmas." Although it's hard to forget Elvis Presley's swooning, Van Shelton gives it his best shot, adding some spicy saxophone playing to the ageless classic. He breathes new life into many of the traditional songs heard here, from "Silver Bells" to "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." He puts the Van Shelton baritone spin on "O, Come All Ye Faithful" and does a knock-out rendition of "Silent Night." If just one listen doesn't make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, then you haven't been bitten by the holiday bug, but by Scrooge.
