  • They Say...

Oojami have been a significant creative force on the world music scene, with plenty of fresh ideas. There's still a mixture of various instruments and ideas on Boom Shinga Ling (the Irish fiddle in "Shake That Belly," for instance), and the beats are for the dancefloor, with a number of rappers over the top. The back cover says that this is what they're like on-stage, and it may work best in a club atmosphere, as the rappers say all the right things with calls for justice and peace.
