  • We Say...

A release on London's fine Moshi Moshi label is a reliable seal of approval for UK indie bands these days. But the daftly named Dananananaykroyd've already got one of those (the riotous "Totally Bone" appeared on the label's fine Singles Club way back in 2006). So, how 'bout another one? In these tough times when fresh success is only measured by how fast you can rise to fame, it's reassuring to see the 'kroyd taking it slow. Sissy Hits, a new six-track EP, is a chaotic, janglesome romp, which sounds a bit like the Fall meeting the Police round Bloc Party's house. As both a song title and a song, I'm mostly loving "Cleaning Each Other."
