With his sweet-voiced, uplifting tunes, reggae crooner Garnett Silk was noted for helping to change the course of dancehall music in the early '90s. 100% Silk provides an excellent overview of his talents, collecting some of his best-known hits. The 13 tracks are mostly love songs, and all display Silk's ability to translate sincere emotion. Standouts include "Oh Me Oh My," which throbs with palpable longing, and "With Your Mercy," which demonstrates Silk's heartfelt faith. This is a good selection for Silk fans and lovers rock aficionados alike.
