Ex-Sky Cries Mary/Posies bassist Joseph Skyward makes his solo debut under the moniker Skyward, crafting a record featuring almost a different band on every song, including contributions from current and former members of the Posies, Sky Cries Mary, 7 Year Bitch, the League of Crafty Guitarists, Ministry, Low Pop Suicide, Sage, Hammerbox, and others. The style is largely psychedelic, with tinges of art-rock, jazz, and funk.
