  • They Say...

The Hillbilly Hellcats play a heavy rockabilly that is analogous to Reverend Horton Heat. Indeed, each of their CDs (their first was Rev It Up with Taz) were recorded with ex-drummer of that group, Taz Bentley. "Road Rage" is a good example of this heavy rockabilly, while "Everybody Was Drinkin' Martinis But Me" shows another side of the group, one that is humorous, strident and classically hillbilly rock. White trash and whiskey themes are the staples to their short but enjoyable compositions. Our Brand is original music that is consistently upbeat, true to rockabilly sound ideals and naturally enjoyable.
