  • We Say...

Summer at Shatter Creek is the brainchild and main project of singer, songwriter and musician Craig Michael Gurwich, who creates moody, tremulous, piano-driven songs seemingly built to accompany rainy days and late, late nights. Sink Or Swim EP, his 2004 offering, is a strong showcase for Gurwich's singular style: piano playing with heavy, ghostlike sustain, songs with unique melodic contours, and a tremulous, deeply sincere vocal style that brings to mind a more homespun Jeff Buckley, especially on the closing track, "Your Ever Changing Moods."
