  • They Say...

This budget-priced set from Doris Day on Synergy has two notable distinctions: the first is its sound. Synergy goes to great care sonically. The second is that almost all of the material here comes from the soundtrack to 1955's Love Me or Leave Me, a musical. The rest dates from the same period. Standout tracks include "I Got It Bad (And That Ain't Good)," "My Blue Heaven," and "Sundown."
