  • They Say...

A qualified disappointment after a remarkable debut, Just Call Me "Lone" Lee offers little more than a few sleazy-listening tracks whose links to the '70s are just a bit too direct to qualify as anything more than camp or nostalgia. Partially compiled from previous singles releases, "Bed Sheet Shuffle," "One Night Samba," and the two-part "Triple X Togetherness" prove far more intriguing track titles than actual productions. One exception: the narcoleptic country haze of "Go Down Dixie."
