  • They Say...

On 44 Long's third album, frontman Brian Berg continues to evolve as both a songwriter and a musician, blending elements of Americana, indie rock, and classic AM radio fare with strong results. Listeners of Hangover Heights, Pt. 2 will have a hard time dismissing the Portland, Oregon native's trio, as evidenced by winners like the rollicking "Please Don't Love Me Now," the weighty "God Again," and the memorable attitude-driven "You Let Them Win." Augmented by guitarist/bassist Andy Ricker and drummer Cory Burden, 44 Long's third is a perfect fit for fans of fractured pop and well-worth hunting down.
