If you like your metal vital and real, this disc is for you. Seasons of the Wolf seem to have done an excellent job of capturing the magic of classic era metal with newer leanings. Although I would definitely lump this one into the "metal" category, there are definitely leanings of prog metal and even sounds as far away as Hawkwind. This disc is a 12-track excursion into killer metal, and all that implies. The sounds of all the classic groups, Sabbath, Priest and Maiden are there, but with a new twist. This is a great independent metal release. If you are into real metal, pick this one up.
