One of the more obscure Duke Ellington LPs, this session features the orchestra playing ten of Ellington's more popular numbers (all at least 20 years old at the time) and "The Twitch." However the band's enthusiasm and the wonderfully expressive playing of trumpeter Cootie Williams make this an album well worth searching for.
