    "Tied to the '80s," "Nightclubbing at Home," "Data Boogie" — did MRI exemplify the early '00s wave of post-IDM-glitch house music, or did they just take notes on it for their titles? Answer: both, which is fine considering the many strengths: spangly, effervescent and just as effective when it drops the tempo (as it does for much of the middle) as when it pumps the bass and dares your ass not to move.
