  • They Say...

Total Dance Explosion is a fine collection of 17 dance and club hits from 1996 and 1997, including Ghostown DJs' "My Boo," the Blackout Allstars' "I Like It," Yoco Ross' "All That," INOJ's "Love You Down" and Unique II's hit cover of Matthew Wilder's new wave classic, "Break My Stride." Not all of the tracks are first-rate, but all have an infectious groove, and the best moments rank among the finest pop-oriented dance music of their particular year. In all, it's a thoroughly entertaining collection.
