Bart Davenport’s sleepy West Coast pop is nothing short of agreeable in both its melodic simplicity and its ‘70s soft rock styling. Davenport’s vocals provide the tender aural caresses to rock you gently on the slowed down “Strangelife” and “Yoshi.” And when he picks up the pace (as he does so well on “Born to Suffer”), you’ll be tempted to grab a tambourine and jam along.
