Originally a seven-song EP released on Rough Trade, this 1997 Lookout! reissue is beefed up with 24 -- count em, 24 -- bonus tracks! The 1989 Big Black Bugs Bleed Blue Blood is notable for its tuneful songs and the celebratory anthem, "At Gilman Street." The extra 24 tracks are culled from a number of singles and EPs, as well as several compilation albums to which they contributed (including the R.E.M. and Shonen Knife tributes). This compilation nicely ties up a few loose ends and is a great bargain to boot.
