  • They Say...

On this two-disc set, Bing Crosby welcomes some of the most famous celebrity and musical guests to his radio show. Some of the tracks are absolute classics for their historical value alone, including "The Thing" with Fred Astaire, "The Bold Fisherman" with Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall, and "Friendship" with Bert Lahr. Some are straightforward songs and others are humorous parodies, including a medley of "Home on the Range," "Sioux City Sue," and "Alla en el Rancho Rio Grande," with Gary Cooper and Peggy Lee. Bing Crosby & His Hollywood Guests is a reminder that Crosby used to shine brightest in a city of stars. This is a fun compilation for anyone who loves old Hollywood or might be looking for an upbeat track for a mix. Completely enjoyable.
